Corrosion Protection

Permanent immersion of steel sheet pile in acidic soil or water can lead to corrosion and damage. Therefore to avoid corrosion damage throughout the service life of the steel sheet pile wall, we recommend few options to shield steel sheet pile wall from corrosion based on design, site and sheet pile conditions:

• Corrosion protection measures coating as per ISO 12944.
• QA/QC inspection for applied-coating.
• Statically reserve with stronger section or higher steel grade i.e. special steel grade for corrosive environment, such as marine grade.
• Optimized design to corrosion intensity, avoid important bending moments in the high corrosion-rate zones.

Project Management and Installation Advisory

In addition, we provide advice and project management services for various installation conditions at the site. For examples:

• Latest driving machine and special driving method of steel sheet piles in hard and difficult ground condition.
• Type of driving guides for various type of sheet piles walls for example, combined walls.
• Advise for sheet pile driving at adjacent buildings and restriction to vibration or noise.
